Choose automatic or battery-powered quartz. NH35 automatic builds offer automatic winding, hand winding, and approximately 41 hours of power reserve. Movement options depend on the design and are confirmed before assembly.

Do you offer automatic and quartz watches?+
Yes. Choose an automatic movement or a battery-powered quartz movement. Available movement types and compatible components are confirmed for your selected design before you order.
What is a Seiko mod?+
A custom watch assembled using compatible components, often around a Seiko NH-series automatic movement. Calm Second also offers custom watches with quartz movements. Our builds use aftermarket components and are independently assembled; they are not factory Seiko watches.
Can I change the dial, hands, or bracelet?+
Yes, share your preferences in the inquiry. Part availability and compatibility determine the final combination, which is agreed before assembly.
How much does a custom build cost?+
Pricing depends on the parts and design. You receive a confirmed quote, deposit amount, and estimated completion time before proceeding.
